Al is the Development Director for the College of Nursing. The Sherwood, ND, native joined the Foundation in 2018. He graduated from the University of Minnesota-Morris with a bachelor of arts in speech communication. Al's experience includes work in broadcasting/communications, state government, marketing/sales and customer service. Al and his wife, Lisa, have three children – Brodie, Sammi and Chantal. Lisa is an SDSU alum and teaches biology at Brookings High School.
